After years of working Shutdowns around the country, I realized that there was a definite need for personnel to be informed about shutdowns and construction projects. While employed on shutdowns there was always plenty of rumours going around about this job and that job, next thing you know you are at home and out of the loop! If only there was a way I could keep in touch with other people so that I heard about up and coming jobs. That was the start of the Shutdown Monitor.
